As we head into our 20th year of service, we have learned one valuable lesson along the way: we cannot make every family happy and we won’t always align with a family. We have enjoyed working with all of our families, for however long they’ve stayed. We wish them nothing but the best as we know how difficult the struggle can be.

I highly recommend AEFCT! In our experience, they were very professional, never late, never cancelled on us, the director Maryann and BCBA Ms. Emily checked on us regularly, the RBTs we had were all awesome. I miss them and haven’t found anyone like them.

My son began services with AEFCT when he was around 18 months old, attending three days a week for two hours each time. He stayed with the program until he graduated at age 7, and during those years they played a huge role in our family’s journey.
As any parent of a child on the autism spectrum knows, everyday situations can come with unique challenges. The team at AEFCT helped guide us through those moments, whether it was helping my son learn new skills, work through difficult behaviors, or achieve goals I once wasn’t sure were possible.
One of the things that meant the most to us was the consistency of his care team. His BCBA and BTs stayed with him throughout his time in the program, which helped build trust and comfort for him. Seeing familiar faces each week made a big difference in his progress and his willingness to engage.
They were also incredibly supportive during the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many families, we suddenly had to adapt to telehealth services. The AEFCT team worked hard to make that transition smooth and continued providing meaningful support during a very uncertain time.
As an active-duty Navy family with long and unpredictable hours, their flexibility and understanding also meant a lot. They worked with our schedule and always tried to make things as easy as possible for our family.
What I appreciate most is that AEFCT didn’t just help my son, they helped me as a parent. They taught us strategies and approaches that I still use today to help him navigate life and challenges.
While I certainly hope we won’t need ABA services again in the future, if the time ever comes, AEFCT will absolutely be my first call.

We are so grateful for the years of support we received from AEFCT. They genuinely cared for my son and played such an important role in helping him overcome many challenges. They also guided and supported me as a parent and helped shape me into the mom I am today. Their patience and kindness will be forever remembered.
The Kong Family
When our son was first diagnosed with autism, AEFCT was the very first ABA company we trusted—and that decision made all the difference. Even after moving out of state and later returning to San Diego, AEFCT was the only company I wanted for our kids’ ABA therapy.
The staff truly felt like family. We had the privilege of working with so many incredible behavioral therapists, RBTs, and supervisors who genuinely cared about helping our children grow and succeed. They not only supported our kids through ABA therapy but also provided meaningful parent training. So much of what we learned from AEFCT is still part of our daily routines today.
Our kids were with AEFCT for almost 6 years until we left Oceanside in 2022, and we are so grateful for the impact they’ve had on our family. I would without a doubt recommend AEFCT to any family looking for compassionate, dedicated ABA services for their child or loved one.
